A Visit to Prague Castle. Thursday, July 14, 2011. The castle has 2 Royal Guards present at every entrance. The guards are not allowed to smile or speak while on duty. Every hour there is a changing of the guards. It is done very ceremoniously. We ladies thought that several of the guards were not too bad to look at for awhile. We started out at the nearby bead store, and yes, Clara was delighted to discover that the store is within walking distance from the flat! Our SECOND attempt to leave for Prague. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Denise could elevate her leg! Denise and Clara both had a catered meal, and watched movies on their own private screens. We were both giddy and we had a VERY comfortable flight! Jitka and her husband were happy to greet us when we arrived in Prague. We drove to their flat about an hour drive from the airport.
