I am returning to my sport of open water swimming and triathlons, so this will be my last year as an active member. I wanted to make a few modest improvements before I left. Message from the President:. Hope to see everyone out on the water soon! April 17th, 9 am. To get to Cornish Park from I-90 in Elgin, exit at Rt. 31 north and drive to Algonquin. I n Algonquin turn right at Washington Street and turn left on Harrison. You'll find parking for the park along Harrison. Another parking area is to the south of the park. The impending gloom and obvious doom.Turned into a paddlig perfect picturesque setting . to add to this scenario.No one had a camera! Janis Jopin saw this coming." Fish are jumping and the river is easy." One person sweared they came face to face with one of those " aquatic animals ", it could be true as Jo-Jo wasn't there.
