It's a Wonderful Life!: Chicago
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/08/chicago.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Friday, August 21, 2009. We are back home after a long weekend in Chicago! We had such a great time and did so many fun things. The first thing the girls wanted to do when we arrived was to go swimming! Chris and I laughed - we drove five hours to a great city and they wanted to stay in the hotel to swim. Typical kids. Since the hotel has free "munchies" at 5:30, we snacked a little, went swimming then went out to explore. We ended up at:. Are you familiar with this place? To know ...

It's a Wonderful Life!: O Christmas Tree
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/12/o-christmas-tree.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Saturday, December 12, 2009. Christmas is perhaps my favorite time of the year. I absolutely love the traditions, the gift-giving, the carols, cookie decorating parties and being with family. Of course, the real reason for Christmas is why celebrating it is so much fun. We have a holiday that gives us a great platform to let every one know about the birth of our King. This year we added a large, blinged-out "T" to the front and center of the tree. I smile every time I see that ...

http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/08/almost-slumber-party.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Saturday, August 1, 2009. It wouldn't be summer around our house without our annual Almost Slumber Party. This is one day in the summer when the girls can pick out two or three (or four! Friends to invite to come over around 3:00 and stay until 10:15. It is a night that the girls and I look forward to as soon as school ends. Here is a typical Almost Slumber Party agenda:. The girls arrive and hit the pool! Then they have to have a snack! The girls devoured it! The girls wanted me t...

It's a Wonderful Life!: Another Broken Bone
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/07/another-broken-bone.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Thursday, July 2, 2009. I am going to make this short and to the point: Rachel is my daughter, thus another broken bone. This makes two bones before 1st grade. At this rate, she in on a good course to beat me for broken bones. I guess we should be thankful that ballet is her chosen sport. Taylor chose to read a book or two instead of the DS. That's my girl! The proud owner of a purple cast! I never heard how she did it? July 2, 2009 at 2:08 PM. But glad she got it x-rayed! I am a m...

It's a Wonderful Life!: VBS 2009
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/06/vbs-2009.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Saturday, June 27, 2009. VBS was a success again this year! Was a hit with the kids and proved to be quite fun. We had 497 children register (I am thinking we could have found three more children to hit 500, don't you think? But most importantly we had several children accept the Lord as their Savior. It makes it all the late nights, missed suppers and early mornings worth it. Here are a few pictures of the stage and the girls:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

It's a Wonderful Life!: 1st Day of School
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/09/1st-day-of-school.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Tuesday, September 8, 2009. 1st Day of School. Sorry I don't have time to blog, but I have promised pictures! To sum up the day - it went great! Taylor loved one of her teachers and thought the other to be boring. Rachel still thinks her teacher looks like a princess and it was even confirmed today when Mrs. L sprinkled them with "smart sprinkles" from a fairy princess wand. Chris took Taylor to school this morning so she didn't have to catch a 7AM bus! September 21, 2009 at 7:34 AM.

It's a Wonderful Life!: Our Trip to Michigan
http://theandersonslife.blogspot.com/2009/07/our-trip-to-michigan.html
It's a Wonderful Life! Monday, July 13, 2009. Our Trip to Michigan. This past weekend we had the opportunity to travel to Michigan to be with Chris' side of the family. The four days we were gone went by quickly! We had so much fun! If you have read this blog in the recent past then you know that Rachel broke her ankle and was in a purple cast. Well Chris' best friend happens to be an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in feet and ankles. On Friday, he was so kind as to x-ray. Later that night, the entir...
