This is where I ought to say, “And God met me.” This ought to be where He answered all my prayers in an overwhelming flood of grace. Yet that’s not what happened. When you can’t seem to find your way home, and when life gets too hard to face on your own, I will stand as your light through your darkest unknown. I will walk with you…so you’re never alone. February was a whirlwind. it was peppered with celebration, disappointment, fasting and illness. these things combined to make an already short month fly by. so, here it is in pictures:. The anacostia river. i walked across it on my way home last night. i forgot my smartrip card, and so instead of paying $3.40 to get home by bus, i took a bus halfway home for $1.70 and walked the rest of the way. over the anacostia at sunset.
