Prakash Devineni's Blog. Travel to Kedarnath and Badrinath – V. Early in the morning we boarded the bus for Joshimath to reach the gate to Badrinath by 2:00 PM. We had a problem with the bus on the way. It was quite disappointing that it has happened. As food is already prepared before starting we had lunch. Since the spare parts will take long time, the tour guide has arranged for multiple vehicles to reach Joshimath and to Badrinath. Repair work in progress for bus. Village named Ameenapuram, the village is nearer to Veeranki Lakulu and Kapilaeswara puram. To reach that village we have to go by walk from Veeranki Laku (2 Km) or from Kapilaeswara puram through crossing Bandar canal on a boat.
