Monday, April 12, 2010. I can't believe it has been 2 weeks. So, I was so happy to stay home last weekend. I went to the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum on Sat. I so enjoyed myself. I need to go back sometime when I have another Sat off. They have an awsome Chinese Art Selection, and like 5 or 6 Monet's. This weekend I am going to Des Moines to see Lana and Dona. We will be going to the science museum on Sat. By the way Lana's sugery Moved back to 5/18/10. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Saturday, March 20, 2010.

Tuesday, March 02, 2010. The e-mail I got from Mom today. Hope to stay here a while. Good news is the tumor is not growing and no more strokes. They increased the Keppra and hope that will help with the headaches,the blurry vision will be something she will have to live with until after the surgery. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. So Last Wed Lana met with the neurosurgeon. Lana's surgery is set for 5/13 which is a Thursday. Lana was also told that even with the surgery she would continue to decline and be at great risk for stroke. Lana at this point I believe is hoping she passes during surgery. Some with a point, some not-so-much so. Work's been good. Busy, but good. I've been getting cross-trained in a new area, and that's interesting and I feel like I'm learning a lot. I found that the "engineering office" is very quiet when its other 3 residents are gone. But that makes for a great opportunity to blare the Christmas music. ;). There hasn't been an engineering intern there since I interned a few years ago, so it'll be interesting to see how it works out. Some with a point, some not-so-much so. A gentleman called the office today and asked for the number for our other office, telling me the salesman there had given it to him but he misplaced it. I read the number off our little phone list and he diligently wrote it down (I think). He then repeated it and I said "that's correct.". Then he ever-so-kindly said "that's the number I just called.". I felt like SUCH an idiot. But he just kind'a chuckled and informed me that it's ok, EVERYONE has days like that.

A day in the life of. Saturday, July 30, 2005. A short span of five weeks and now I am back in Champaign for a sunday service. Traveling mainly to Elgin and KS have been a wonderful blessing with family and friends. Some with a point, some not-so-much so. Not a good day. Things are not going right, and I am really getting frustrated and discouraged. It would be nice if ONE thing would go right. Did not get to talk to Lana today. She was too tired. Hardly got to talk to her at all this week. And now I'm not even sure about my plans to visit her this weekend.
