Saturday, July 26, 2008. Related to matters at hand. The word "relevant" gets tossed around a lot in today's churches, and it often gets assigned to things in a misleading manner. All things "new" are not necessarily relevant; and all "old" things/ways are not necessarily useless. Bottom Line: The Word of the Living God is relevant. The Gospel message of Jesus providing true salvation is relevant. I love today's music. I love "loud"! Again, God looks at the heart of the worshipper. That is a mistake.

Tuesday, April 29, 2008. It is not my thing to drive around in my car with the gas gauge nearing the big "E". I did it today, and for far longer than I was anywhere near comfortable with. It may have had to do with the repugnant thought of shelling out $3.62 for one flippin' gallon of gas! The economy is just fine, though; don't worry. Yeah, right!
