Sunday, April 26, 2009. I lost a dear friend yesterday. A friend that I knew since 1989. But he is more than a friend. He is like an older brother. I went to say goodbye to him today. I will miss him. Miss telling him my troubles. Miss crying before him and not worrying that I will be laughed at. Miss making him laugh with my silliness. But I know he is in a better place. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. I am in big trouble and I mean BIG. I went to see the handsome dentist today. It seems my tooth is badly injured. And to correct the problem, it will cost me a BIG. Bomb depending on my course of action. See a specialist for some less-complicated-than-extracting-wisdom-tooth surgery crowning = $1,500. Extraction and implantation = $4,000. Extraction but no treatment (not recommended). Put on dentures (? Imagine spending so much just to protect one tooth. Oh what should I do?

Saturday, January 24, 2009. It's CNY soon but it doesnt really feel like it. Except for the oranges, bak kua and the hamper at home. I dont really like CNY. Ok maybe I do a little. But just for the pretty dress I get to buy and the ang paos. The truth is, CNY has become very predictable for me. I visit the same place. Greet the same people. Eat the same food. Answer the same question (you have to reach a certain age to be targetted). And even sit at the same seat. I think CNY is more for the older folks.

We were asked to share about our spiritual state. I recalled doing the same exercise just this Tuesday. It's strange that after a year of studying God's Word. Most of us still struggled with regular QT the moment we were left on our own. Erm, isnt this one of the area that will make me weak? Read the book of Luke.

Thursday, June 04, 2009. Went out with some gals to some cosy space today. Got everyone to bring their favourite stuff. I brought my "pencil". Kinda got me thinking about my dreams again. What I want to do. To make my one life worth living. Lately been busy with tons of work. Wish for more time to do more stuff. Like visit more museums. Talk to more friends. Spend more time with mum.
