Pre-Calculus 40S Section D Winter 2014

Pre-Calculus 40S Section D Winter 2014. Monday, May 26, 2014. Unit 7. Radical and Rational Functions. Hey guys, it's Manpreet. I'll be blogging about what we did in your class today. First we finished the Radical functions using transformation part of the unit, where we learned how to determine a radical function from a graph. Then we went to the next part of the unit, which is The Square Root of a Function. This is when you convert a any function to a radical function. This one deals with quadratic func...

Pre-Calculus 40S Section D Winter 2014. Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Unit 5- proving identities. Hi everyone. This is manveer Today I will be blogging about the things that we went over in class but very briefly. I don't like to talk to much so I will go straight into it. Know these strategies :. 1) Use known identities i.e. ( sinx/cosx = tanx). 2) Use the Pythagorean Identity or one of its alternate forms. 3) Rewrite the equation/expression using sin and cos. So let's begin with the first question . 4) Repl...

Pre-Calculus 40S Section D Winter 2014. Thursday, May 22, 2014. HEY, ITS JASDEEP. In the morning class we started a new unit on Radical and Rational Functions. Its two units put together that are pretty similar to each other but are different from the rest of the units. In the first lesson we learned basic radical functions by getting to know how to graph a basic function. We did a question in graphing radicals by using a transformation. WE HAVE A TEST TOMORROW :( BOOO! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Pre-Calculus 40S Winter 2013 Section CB

Pre-Calculus 40S Winter 2013 Section CB. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Hi guys Its Suhyeon :-). I am going to show you some information about Exponential Functions. Exponential functions look somewhat similar to functions you have seen before, in that they involve exponents, but there is a big difference, in that the variable is now the power, rather than the base. Previously, you have dealt with such functions as. Was the base and the number. Where the base is the fixed number, and the power is the variable.

Pre-Calculus 40S Section C Winter 2014. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Heyy guys, this is Sargam! We all are very close to an end of this course and this feeling is also not great because we all will have to say goodbye to Mr.Piatek! Well, moving on, today we mainly discussed about the review and some really important questions of Permutation, combination and binomial theorem. Today Mr.Piatek reminded us to do some the entity and some really tricky questions which are very much likely to be on the exam. Of the b...
