Monday, July 19, 2010. Not the most beautiful presentation, but they were delicious! So I've been running out of ideas for lunch for Isabel, and I was pretty sure that she was getting tired of cut up hot dogs.My mom gave me this idea, and Isabel had them for lunch today! Hamburger Porky Pine Balls. 1lb ground beef or turkey. 1/2 cup uncooked white rice (I used long grain). 1/3 cup chopped onion. 1 tsp salt (I used sea salt). 1/4 tsp garlic powder. 1/8 tsp paprika (optional). Dash of ground black pepper.

Wednesday, September 9, 2009. This recipe is a tradition in our family. Every time we eat it, it reminds us of Grandpa Steve. It is really easy and I think it tastes even BETTER as a leftover. 16 oz package of large elbow macroni (small will work if you don't have it). 16 oz tomato sauce. 1/2 cup chopped onions. 1 tsp garlic powder. Shredded cheese (jack, mexican, cheddar all work). In a large pot, saute onions until soft in butter. Add macaroni (no water yet! Add tomato sauce, water and seasonings.
