Honey, Bee Mine | Page 2

Honey, Bee Mine. March 18, 2011. Just a little while ago I came to the realisation that I just don’t like garments knitted in anything thicker than a sport weight yarn. I particularly like things knitted at a tight gauge, which is probably why I like knitting socks so much. It’s not that I don’t like knitting with thicker yarn, I just don’t like the finished look. This realisation led me on a trawl through Rav and I fell in love with the Making Waves Cardigan. From → WIP. Today was a good one! Ater picki...

A Mess | Honey, Bee Mine
https://afewmanymore.wordpress.com/2011/03/22/a-mess
Honey, Bee Mine. March 22, 2011. Things are going well with the MW Cardi. Except for one little thing. Since I am knitting with a hand dyed yarn, I am alternating skeins. I wasn’t sure how to go about this, but a little Twitter conversation with DrK. Gave me the answers. I have decided to alternate all four skeins. However, it is resulting in this little mess. Or is it a big one! Is there a way to minimise it? From → craft. Larr; The Beginning. Hmmm… →. Leave one →. March 23, 2011 8:42 AM. I love to do a...

Not Knitting | Honey, Bee Mine
https://afewmanymore.wordpress.com/2011/07/15/not-knitting
Honey, Bee Mine. July 15, 2011. You know a funny thing happens when you start to tell people about your new venture. They want to buy stuff. I have been so very fortunate that so many people have been able to keep me busy over the last month or so. But along with the good comes the bad, and the bad in this situation, is the lack of knitting. I hadn’t touched the needles in nearly six weeks, but in the last week I have remedied that. I have a few rows left on the back of my Making Waves Cardigan. My name ...

Mitts | Honey, Bee Mine
https://afewmanymore.wordpress.com/2011/05/27/mitts
Honey, Bee Mine. May 27, 2011. It has been starting to get cold here in the mornings, and because I have to push a pram to school, I can’t stuff my hands in my pockets to keep them warm. So hand coverings of some description are in order. After a particularily torturous day, that had me screaming like a banshee and culminated in three screaming children on a bus, I poured myself a glass of wine (actually Soldier did) and started faffing about on Ravelry. I stumbled upon these. Or do I make two pairs?
