Have you left your kiddo in the car? You don’t have to tell me, but it’s something I would guess every parent has at least contemplated doing. About four years ago, Jackson and I were in NYC with little baby Gray. Jackson was in meetings and I’d taken the day off from work, so I had the whole day in the city to wander with Gray. And take him to some of my favorite spots. At one point I was trying to navigate his stroller through about 1,000 bustling people and down the stairs at Bryant Park. Where do you find your help? A friend recently asked me where, as a parent, I go for help. Blogs, websites, resources, etc. I laughed when I thought how many I frequent on a daily basis, but that I could barely remember their names besides Amazon and Notabli. With some thought I pulled together this list…but I’m curious - where do you go for help? What do you read, seek out, or need as a parent for help? Though she’s doing lots more sponsorships/promotions these days. A Cup of Jo. All over the place now.

As the days get warmer and the boys are outside more and more (hallelujah! There’s a little niggling worry in the back of my head…bugs. Ticks, mostly. The thought of lyme disease for me, our dog, or our little ones, is terrifying, so I’m ready to do everything i can to try to keep those little buggers away, and as naturally as possible. I’ve tried everything that is deet. Free, most recently happily with this Badger bugspray. On exactly this topic.
