Compared to 2008, the prices of property have risen by as much as 40%. This is despite the seven rounds of cooling measures the government has introduced in a bid to slow the growth rate. Thursday, April 8, 2010. There will be a Phuket international marathon held in June every year. This is an exciting event as it allows you to jog through the villages and dirt tracks of phuket. It will be tougher than road marathons as the terrain is not flat and it will be challenging. However, this is another opportunity for one to prove his worth in marathon. I have always enjoyed coming to Bishan as I stayed here while I was much younger, it is located in the central part of Singapore and, from there, I am able to reach Orchard road in 15 minutes. This is especially useful for a young chap like me as I am always meeting my friends in town for a movie or dinner. It is unfortunate that homes in Singapore are getting smaller and more expensive, I think I have no choice but to buy my first property now.
