Does thunder anxiety have to mean gun-shyness? On July 8, 2012. Mom was right, this walk was different from a normal walk. When we go for a normal walk I get to stop and sniff everything and explore and growl at birds and bunnies. On this walk Mom kept my leash tight, I had to walk beside her the whole time, and whenever anything interesting happened she said “hup! We walked around the block, it’s exactly one mile, and I was doing great! Boy, do I need a nap! Distance: 1.5 miles. Time: 0 hr 34 min 50 secs.

Hand signals, or hand commands, are something Mom has been teaching me since I was old enough to walk! While we continue to work on small tactical tricks that might come in handy, Mom also runs me through my hand commands. We don’t use them very often, (heck, I don’t do tricks very often anyway!
