The hotel and casino are small compared with the newer mega-resort venues up and down the strip, and after near bankrupcy and sale to Harrah's in 2004 the venue is now resurrected as Binions Gambling Hall and Hotel http:/ www.binions.com/. Only a few years later Binion was convicted of tax evasion and served about 4 years in Leavenworth.
