Life in Rural Northamptonshire. A keen band of bell ringers, led by Tower Captain Graham White of Charwelton, meet most Wednesday evenings from 7.00-8.00pm for practice ringing. The bells, a ring of five, are reputedly the heaviest in the county. Church service ringing is usually 30 minutes before the service time. A one-off payment of 12 buys you one number which will be entered into each of twelve monthly draws (drawn on the first Sunday of each month, starting in January of each year) – you can, of course, buy more than one number!
