mayblossoms handcrafted creations: Katelyn
http://mayblossoms.blogspot.com/2009/06/katelyn.html
Sunday, June 21, 2009. Here is my most recent Baptism Keepsake Book for a little girl who is not into girly frilly pink stuff. Katelyn loves blue, so I gave it a feminine edge with just a sweet tailored look. (I also turned my pink baptism paper blue.) I like how the flowers turned out. Making each book custom fit to each child is kind of fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Favorite Blogs or Sites. Skip To My Lou. Made By You Monday. Tower of Gorgeous Wool Felt. Journeys in Mommyhood: April 2010
http://journeysinmommyhood.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
This site is for sharing my passion for creating things, especially for the ones I love! Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Here's a skirt I made from an old dress shirt of my dad's that had a stain on it. I chopped off the bottom, hemmed the waist with some elastic inside and then just sewed a ribbon to the bottom. SOOO easy! Inspired by Oliver S. Greg and Brittany Burton. I made these dresses from McCall's 5966. Jo's turned out great size wise. Lydia's got about 3 more years of wear in hers :-).

Friday, November 6, 2009. Birdies in a Tree Whimsical Quilt. I was very excited to use the whimsical tree. I love applique and the compilation seemed so exicting, that I neglected several other things so I could finish this to take to my sister last month! We live four states away.). Here is a closeup of the sweet daddy bird flying home to his nest. I love the quilt's color combination of raspberry, dark chocolate, cream, and lime green. It's almost good enough to eat!
