In case we haven't shared, here's what's coming our way in all her 7'6" glory! I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed that all goes as planned. And the best p...

In just over a week the red oak floors have been installed and stained, the siding has been completed, the painting is nearly finished, all trimwork and kitchen cabinets have arrived, and we are going to begin the tile and backsplash work. Oh and we have interior lights! Finished siding and caulking of the garage. Awaiting the installation of the lights. Chimney wrap to be installed on Monday. Crown molding to be cut.

FARMHOUSE ACRES: November 2010
http://farmhouseacres.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 23, 2010. Well and Septic - Check! Sorry it's been a while since we last posted. I'm battling some sort of stomach flu/food poisoning, and just haven't had the energy to post. Last Thursday, the well and septic installation started. While this might seem boring to most, it's obviously two of the most important items for our future home. All I can think of Uncle Eddy's famous phrase."shitters full! Luckily it won't be a while before Brad can use this exclamation! Yes, 90 TONS! Although i...

Front door should be soon. A few wire rolls in the hall closet in the foyer. Mud and Ice. Great combo! Spring will bring a concrete pad. Framing around the bulk of tin. Mudroom. More wire rolling. Inside the mudroom. I don't think walking into this view from the garage will ever get old. Just a few wires left.

FARMHOUSE ACRES: October 2010
http://farmhouseacres.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Are you ready to ROCK? ROCK the driveway that is? Each and every day is a surprise out at 3298. Today was full of many surprises, including a fully rocked/gravel driveway. We can't quite drive on it yet since it's just the first course of 4-6" gravel. When they get some heavy machines on it, it'll get packed down and be ready for the smaller 1-2" gravel. This is the required attire for yesterday and today's weather. 65279; . And a sneak peek at our neighbor's new house.
