Monday, May 26, 2014. Eden's dance group performed for a group of senior womenls luncheon. End of the year trophy awards ceremony for the chess team. These kids had to work really hard and pass off many requirements to earn their trophy. There are no words to say how amazing our homeschool group is. We will miss this amazing opportunity and remember many many hours of family recreation from this last summer. Saturday, June 20, 2015. We ended the year with a little camping trip to our favorite cabins. The kids gave Peter and ice cream maker for Christmas. Peter loves ice cream! Saturday, September 14, 2013. Journal: adjusting to new routines. I did not experience the excitement of kids going back to school this year. I usually do, but this year I wanted to run and hide from busy schedules, soccer practices, homework every night, extra meetings, dance, the morning rush or the bedtime urgency. I enjoyed our slow summer days together and did not want my kids to leave for so much of their day. Is he really better off with me? Will he be missing something he needs at public school?
