All Values in QaaWS. Passing single values into a QaaWS connection is simple, but how do you select "All" labels within a selector and return the corresponding values? For this example Im using the Islands Resort Marketing universe and XIR3 sp2. The model will use a simple combo to select the country label, and a second connection will be used to run the service and revenue values based on a trigger cell. This conditions allows us to either select a single value or enter a %, which will return all values.

Multiple Combos for Filtering. Lets assume you need to filter several values from your dataset. Imagine you have Year, Country, City and Amount, but need to filter on both the Year and the Country. One way to do this is by using 2 combo boxes with the filtered rows insertion. The trick here is to use bind source data ranges to the destination data ranges from the previous combo. Calendar Formatting

To be honest you cant do a great deal with formatting the calendar, there's no option to start the week on a different day or use any default settings to change the formatting on particular dates, public holidays for example. What you can do though is use other components to overlay onto the calendar to give the impression of formatting. The next stage is to set the calendar inserts into the B2.B4 range.

The Tab Set component is a useful container to group related components. Normally navigating through the tabs is a manual process, however by using the selected item (position) option, we can make this dynamic. One of the key options not available in this component it tab dynamic visibility. In this example we have 6 regions, each displaying a chart. A separate tab is used for each region. The key property is this example is the Selected Item.
