Kevlar and Baby Shoes. Friday, August 7, 2015. A Bunch of Weird and Wonderful Symptoms. I've been thinking a lot recently about the "side effects" of being pregnant. I am currently 19 weeks and in the blissful "symptom-free" second trimester. The morning sickness and exhaustion seem to have loosened their grip, but there are a few symptoms that have hung around. These are my very own symptoms and I'm pretty happy about most of them! Crazy soft skin from the cocoa butter I'm using to prevent stretch marks.
