Nicola Poole-Reeves and I will be exhibiting a quirky range of ceramics, embroidered textile homewares and gifts, cards and home produce, aswell as a collection of the late Diane Thomson's photography and art cards. Open every day between the above dates, open late until 7pm on Sun 2nd and Sat 8th. Tea and cake in the garden over the weekend of 8th and 9th Sept.

In a studio in the garden next to the stream, Lisa Hector designs and hand makes a beautiful range of fashion accessories, practical homeware textiles and quirky gifts. Inspired by rural life in the Perthshire countryside and her collection of feathered and furry friends, everything from chickens, jam and veggies from the garden feature in her work. Each piece is individually freehand embroidered using the sewing machine, so no two pieces are ever the same. The Studio was built by her husband Gregg.

Living the good life. Wednesday, December 08, 2010. Baby it's cold outside, -15 to be precise! We had snow for 10 days on the trot, fun at first, then very frustrating! The log pile is diminishing rather quickly, but at least we're keeping cosy! These photos were taken at the beginning of last week, we've probably had another 10" on top of this, about 2 1/2 ft in total! Gregg and I walked into the village as it would have taken us as long to dig out the car and the driveway! The studio is cosy and busy!
