Musings of a Mom: June 2011
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 19, 2011. A Tribute: by Mark. I sometimes make the mistake of not honoring my parents and focusing on the little idiosyncrasies that irritate me. I wanted to mention just a few things that my father, Terrence Newport Spalding, has done for me. Growing up my dad very rarely missed a ball game or a track meet. He has always been an example of a hard worker. He never misses work, and he's never late. In fact, he is usually a half an hour early to work everyday. My Dad has NEVER missed a triathl...

Musings of a Mom: February 2012
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Okay, so I'm a lame mom! It has taken me this long to post about Noah's birthday, which was January 23! But, in my defense.okay, don't have one. I love the way he says "A few last weeks ago I." and how he tells Drue she can go on the potty, yet he refuses to. And don't think we haven't bribed him. He just doesn't care! We love his chocolate pudding eyes and his toothless grin. He is a joy! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Blogs Worth Blog Stalking.

Musings of a Mom: December 2011
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 16, 2011. Happy 16 years on the 16th! Happy Anniversary to us! Sixteen years ago today on a frigid, sunny morning Mark and I were married in the Bountiful Temple. These days we wonder what the heck we were thinking getting married in December, but then we remember that I was in school and it was Winter break. Still. December! But, we actually started dating in December, five years before we got married, so it makes December super special! Happy 16 to us! Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Ty lov...

Musings of a Mom: Our Drue is Two!
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2011/11/our-drue-is-two.html
Thursday, November 17, 2011. Our Drue is Two! I really can't believe Drue is two years old! She has brought so much fun and "girly" into our home. But, no worries, she holds her own with the big brothers! She started off the day with a princess crown and yogurt. What could be better? Today I took her to Wal-mart to get some candles for her cake. I saw her smiling at someone behind me, but didn't turn around. Then I heard a voice say, "She is so cute! Lets get on that! Too bad the parents hadn't checked their emails to get the message I'd sent as to where their son was.my address and phone numbers included. I must say that this area has some remarkable people. This guy was generous to offer his time. I really do like the people of Idaho. Hopefully living here will help my boys grow into awesome men! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Holly's Taxing Times: May 2013
http://hollystaxingtimes.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Life of a tax preparer that is also the mother of six. Friday, May 17, 2013. I was watching a movie called. That stars Dakota Fanning. She plays the role of a teenager that is dying of leukemia and gives a wonderful performance. It's a tear jerker, so if you're not in the mood for a good cry, don't watch it. As for me, I don't think I'd realized how in need of a good cry I was.nor how therapeutic that can be. Just writing some of my thoughts has definitely helped. I guess this is why God has asked us...

Musings of a Mom: March 2011
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 25, 2011. In the end, it's all worthwhile! Honestly, the colonoscopy is great! You remember nothing, you get a great nap, no biggie. It's the prep the 24 hours prior that's really crappy.REALLY "crappy"! And I mean crapping every 5 minutes for several hours! I NEVER want to drink another flavored sparkling water.EVER! If you are related to me, Please, PLEASE, PLLEESSE, schedule a colonoscopy! It sounds scary, but the alternative could be much, much worse! Monday, March 21, 2011. I am determ...

Musings of a Mom: December 2010
http://musingsofamob.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 16, 2010. Today is our 15 year anniversary! On Monday I was desperately searching for a binkie.you know, it was nap time, the crying and whining wouldn't stop until the plug was where it belongs.anyway, I looked under our bed, pushing away PILES of dust bunnies and other items which shall remain nameless.when, what did I see hiding between the baseboard and the carpet? I realize that I'm a loud talker, but come on! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
