Daughter of the King. About Me and My Blog. Knitting with a Purpose. November 8, 2013 in Body Work. I haven’t worked out in over a month. The last workout I logged in DailyMile. Was a two mile walk and the Bikini Body Mommy. Workout for day 31 on October 2. The last time I ran was August 27 and it was a measly one mile. The last long run I did was eight miles on July 6. And I don’t like it. But I can’t change it. I am still not up to exercise; I am barely making it through the days. And I will be back.

One of the ways that I do that is by making things. This week I realized that I should “beef up” what I offer for sale in my Etsy shop. So I started practicing on some different types of items. Typically I have just listed afghans there, but I decided to try some different scarves and hats this week as well. Hope = Renewed Strength.

They don’t play it on Country radio. It is a new song by some old friends, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. Don’t tune out! I have always loved those two. They make beautiful music. But this song stopped me in my tracks and made me weep. And it did it because it is true. We can make new friends every day, and that is a wonderful gift.
