Princess of Patience: February 2012
http://princessofpatience.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The blog of author Annalisa Daughety. Why Princess of Patience? Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The Gift of Time.and a Leap Year Giveaway. If you could give me ONE THING that would be the most helpful to me, it would be the gift of time. I think that's probably why I think Leap Year is so neat. An extra day in February and thus an extra day of 2012 is exactly what this writer-on-a-deadline needs to stay sane. (I could really use an extra week, but I'll take what I can get.). Time is certainly marching on.

The blog of author Annalisa Daughety. Why Princess of Patience? Love comes home for Christmas in two heartwarming holiday stories. There are two stories in this book, a historical and a contemporary. My story, Sweet Southern Christmas, is set during World War II. As Ruby makes plans to return home for the holidays, Cliff devises a plan to give her a Christmas she'll never forget. Read the first chapter here. My novella in Rainbow's End. Is titled Beneath the Surface:. Grant Simmons loves the outdoors....
Princess of Patience: Why Princess of Patience?

The blog of author Annalisa Daughety. Why Princess of Patience? Why Princess of Patience? I confess.when I named this blog, I had no idea that anyone would ever actually read it. In fact, it was before I'd ever even submitted anything for possible publication, so I definitely didn't think I'd wind up a "real" author. But I left the title, even after I became published. Why? So I'm leaving my blog titled "Princess of Patience" because that's exactly what I aspire to be. March 30, 2012 at 7:23 AM. Watermar...

The blog of author Annalisa Daughety. Why Princess of Patience? Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Release Day for Rainbow's End. My newest release is in stores and available online now- including on Kindle and Nook! Rainbow's End is a fun collection written by four authors ( Valerie Comer. And me) and centers around the Rainbow's End Treasure Hunt, a geocaching hunt that lasts for two months near Missouri's beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. The book contains four stories that run concurrently. Very fun! God only knows i...
Princess of Patience: Happy Birthday Elvis Book Giveaway!
http://princessofpatience.blogspot.com/2013/01/happy-birthday-elvis-book-giveaway.html
The blog of author Annalisa Daughety. Why Princess of Patience? Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Happy Birthday Elvis Book Giveaway! A lot of you know that I love Elvis. I have since I was a little girl and my grandma used to play his records on her record player. I'd sit in the floor next to the speakers and be lulled to sleep by his smooth voice. When I decided to write a book series set in Memphis, I HAD to tie Elvis in somehow:. Such fun to put a little Elvis into those books! January 8, 2013 at 10:52 AM.

All Things Considered: Terrible Two's?
http://jlukerfamily.blogspot.com/2012/01/terrible-twos.html
Wednesday, January 4, 2012. I've been putting this post off for too long. Something about having to sum up another year seemed like an emotional task. I wanted to be so eloquent when writing about this second year and I finally decided, there is no way to do it perfectly. But, writing nothing is worse than writing imperfectly, so here it goes. Riding the escalator with Mommy. Playing basketball with Daddy. Justin and Jude horsing around on the couch. Gigi and Mimi getting the trucks out of the boxes.
All Things Considered: December 2011
http://jlukerfamily.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 17, 2011. Thanksgiving was in Dothan this year. We were back and forth with the family about where Thanksgiving would be held. But, since all the sisters were in Dothan, we made the trek down there. Mom hosted everyone at her house. Last year was my first time hosting and I have to say, it's way easier being a guest. Joyce, Aunt Bobbie, and Aunt Karen. Jeremy and Justin in almost matching shirts. Too bad Jude outgrew is from last year. Gramps and Jude reading previously mentioned book.

All Things Considered: Daddy's Helper
http://jlukerfamily.blogspot.com/2011/07/daddys-helper.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Jude has been such a little helper these days! His latest attempt was washing the car, complete with his denim diaper and no shirt. Completely unrelated, but cute pictures below. We stayed at my sister's for a night. Jude has a new obsession courtesy of Justin and that's Thomas the Train. They pulled out his old tracks and all the trains. He was good for the rest of the visit. Running through a willow tree in their backyard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Joyner Journal: Day 8...
http://emilyandgregjoyner.blogspot.com/2014/01/day-8.html
January 28, 2014. Have I mentioned the roller coaster of emotions that come with battling RSV (and probably any other illness that brings children to the hospital)? Yeah, it happens. Even when they successfully got a new IV access point, they saw no need to continue IV meds. Yay! January 28, 2014 at 9:15 PM. Thank you for all of your updates - we look for them daily. We love you all and cant wait for you all to be home. together. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What I'm Reading Now. Find me on Twitter.

The Joyner Journal: RSV...You Suck
http://emilyandgregjoyner.blogspot.com/2014/01/rsvyou-suck.html
January 21, 2014. I really hate that my first post after the wonderful news of Hayden's arrival has to be such a crappy one, but this will help me process things and also document details for my own memory. Hayden, our sweet, precious one-month old, has RSV. Currently, we're sitting in an ICU room at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center, as he breathes rapidly with the support of something that's a step above a regular oxygen tank. It's no fun. In fact, it's pretty terrible. For Hayden to be well enough t...

The Joyner Journal: October 2013
http://emilyandgregjoyner.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
October 31, 2013. At my check-up this morning, all was well. Blood pressure still perfect, (shockingly) weight gain wasn't bad and everything is right on track. Per hospital rules, we can't officially schedule the c-section until three weeks prior, but my doctor is planning on Dec. 19, exactly seven weeks from today! 32 weeks (and one day). Baby is the size of:. A pumpkin squash (fitting for Halloween! Almost 4 lbs and around 19 inches! Hmmmwell, I can't complain too. Best moment of the week. I'm still t...

December 20, 2013. December 19, 2013 at 12:44 pm. 8 pounds, 3 ounces. We are so very proud of our precious boy! Today was such a wonderful day! Our Hayden arrived, and the excitement of learning the gender upon delivery did not disappointment. It was so fun! Easton is a proud big brother and especially loves Hayden's dark hair. I am so thankful for the prayers and positive thoughts from family and friends today. It couldn't have gone more perfect, and I totally felt the support from everyone! Not great t...

The Joyner Journal: Life after RSV
http://emilyandgregjoyner.blogspot.com/2014/02/life-after-rsv.html
February 17, 2014. As I believe I've mentioned before, RSV sucks. Totally and completely sucks. But thankfully, I think I can confidently say that the worst is behind us. For 21 days, we sat in a hospital room watching and waiting. Three weeks of my newborn baby's life were just stolen from me by that awful, awful virus. And visit grandmas' houses as long as there aren't extra people over. We've also been washing our hands nonstop and making the kids change clothes when they get home from preschool&#...
