The Running Cookie: Race Results and Recaps
http://www.therunningcookie.com/p/race-results-and-recaps.html
Race Results and Recaps. Race Results and Recaps. I have discovered I like to run races. Maybe you do too. Perhaps we have even run some of the same ones. Here you'll find my race history from those first days running in 2009 as well as stories going forward of the best of times (and possibly the worst of times- but hopefully not). Here is to running faster and longer as the years progress. NYRR Gridiron Classic 4M. Sunday, February 3, 2013. Early winter running is so not my thing. Saturday, December 15.

The Running Cookie: February 2013
http://www.therunningcookie.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Race Results and Recaps. Monday, February 4, 2013. The Week in Review: Episode 5. How did that happen? Yikes But last week was pretty great so I guess I can't complain too much. Total mileage: 41.51 miles. Longest run: 20.06 miles. January total: 113.8 miles. I am pretty stoked about my progress this week. While I certainly didn't accomplish everything on the list, I got in lots of quality miles, lots of yoga and had a blast with good friends all weekend. Night's run was a little wonky. After Shaya.

The Running Cookie: August 2013

Race Results and Recaps. Monday, August 19, 2013. 1 inertness, esp. with regard to effort, motion, action, and the like; inactivity; sluggishness. 2 the property of matter by which it retains its state of rest or its velocity along a straight line so long as it is not acted upon by an external force. Clearly it has been a while. And I had such high hopes for the summer with regard to so many things: vacation, blogging, running, yoga, etc. And in some cases, life did not disappoint. I mean COME ON! So her...

The Running Cookie: November 2012
http://www.therunningcookie.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Race Results and Recaps. Sunday, November 25, 2012. I will admit. I am a Wheel Watcher. I don't have the fancy number or anything, but if I am home at 7:30 it is usually what is on in the background. I feel much more accomplished solving puzzles than trying (and usually failing) to get the questions right on Jepordy. Today's title, is an homage to this lovely little program. It is also the perfect description of the weekend before Thanksgiving and the official start of my personal holiday eat-a-thon.

The Running Cookie: At Long Last vs At the Start
http://www.therunningcookie.com/2013/06/at-long-last-vs-at-start.html
Race Results and Recaps. Monday, June 17, 2013. At Long Last vs At the Start. In my friendly neighborhood subway station these two saying live on the floor as you approach the turnstiles. We live at the last stop on the A train- if you've ever been to Inwood you know it can be quite a journey depending on where you started. And it certainly feels like the start of a lengthy adventure when waiting for your train to depart. And thus, I feel very much like saying at long last. I am finally here! And so, her...

The Running Cookie: May 2013
http://www.therunningcookie.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Race Results and Recaps. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Racing through May (in so many ways). But, with the close of the fiscal year at the office looming at the end of the month, I feel like it might be time for a reboot. Especially because it represents a legitimate excuse to celebrate New Years twice . . . doesn't everyone do this? Couple that with Fiona's Ragnar Recap Part 1. And so, let's start with the fact that 3 out of 4 weekends this month are filled with endurance style running. Wee! If you know me, ...

The Running Cookie: This Year's Goals
http://www.therunningcookie.com/p/goals.html
Race Results and Recaps. I like the idea of putting my 2013 goals out there. And so on 1/1 I wrote a post about this year's goals for all to read. Now, thanks to an idea from a fellow blogger, I thought I would add a page to the site so we (mostly me) could revisit these goals on a regular basis. Perhaps even add to them throughout the course of the year. Without further ado, I present to you my goals for 2013! Talk about running less (perhaps just in real life, this is a blog about running after all).
