The Burnt-Over Blog: May 2012
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 22, 2012. We went to San Diego a couple weekends ago and took advantage of the free tickets once a year for military families and went to Sea World and then the beach. It was a lot of fun! Lincoln riding in his own airplane. The kids even rode rides all by themselves! I was surprised when Bekah said yes to riding the roller coaster splash ride of Atlantis! She was very brave and hardly got wet. The boys wanted to go again and the second time they got soaking wet! We visited the beach. Most o...

The Burnt-Over Blog: Hulk Birthday
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2013/02/while-in-utah-we-had-good-time-with.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. While in Utah we had a good time with family and celebrated Lincoln's birthday and Danny's baby blessing. The kids were so excited to be able to play in some snow. Daddy blessing our little Danny. Lincoln was so excited to have a birthday party with all his cousins. We found him a cool Avengers pinata at the Tamale festival and he loved it. We had some of his favorite foods, pepperoni pizza and chicken nuggets. Anne enjoying her new nephew. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Burnt-Over Blog: January 2011
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 5, 2011. We had a great Christmas and New Years Eve! I believe it was the first New Years Eve where Seth and I actually stayed up until midnight in 6 years! Lincoln even made it until 11pm that night. Bekah fell asleep around 8pm but woke up at 11 and stayed up past the New Year. Here are some pictures from the holidays. As always, Bass Pro Shops does there fun holiday things for the kids. Including a picture with Santa. Bekah and Linc as cowboys. Making pine cone snowflakes. Collectiv...

The Burnt-Over Blog: January 2012
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 11, 2012. While getting ready for the eventual move to Japan, I was going through some old pictures of Lincoln. I have to say he was the happiest and silliest baby! Just thought I would share some of the cute pictures and the silly things he would do as a baby. One of Lincolns favorite things to do when he was little was pull out all the pots and pans and then climb in the bottom drawer of the oven. Lincoln would love to lay down with Teton and look outside with him. A quick humorous s...

The Burnt-Over Blog: August 2011
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 16, 2011. I can't believe that summer is over, well summer in the sense of kids being out of school. Both my little ones have started school again. But we had a great summer! The first of the pictures are from our trips down to Murfreesboro where Lincoln had summer camp everyday for a whole week. The last day we took Bekah around to see the fun things to do down there before we went to Lincolns graduation. You can find wild turkeys everywhere here in Tennessee. Then we hopped over to Mud ...

The Burnt-Over Blog: March 2012
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 14, 2012. We went down to South Carolina to see Seth during President's Day weekend. We did lots of fun things though I forgot the camera on some of them. Saturday we went to the zoo. There were actually hyena's at the zoo which you don't see that often. Cutest Koala Bear ever! They look all snuggly and fun to play with but apparently they are quite indifferent to their human caretakers. Sharing a nice slurpee. The next day we went to the science center and had fun there. Seth's first st...

The Burnt-Over Blog: June 2011
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 10, 2011. I couldn't figure out how to publish this under my name, so despite what it says at the bottom, Seth is not writing this but I am. A lot has happened since then so try to keep up! I thought this was cute of the kids sitting on their balls and looking out the window. Bekah has discovered the bike this spring and loves to go riding with her daddy. We got to see all the cousins when we were out for my mothers funeral. Here they are playing with cute Creighton. Collectively and individ...

The Burnt-Over Blog: Christmas in Utah
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2013/02/much-has-happened-since-little-danny.html
Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Much has happened since little Danny was born in September. Papa Dan came out to see Danny and we were able to take them to the beach. Amma fell into one of the tide pools and had to buy a whole new outfit, shoes included! Two huge starfish were the stars of these tide pools. Danny slept through most of his first experience at the beach. Cute little Danny at a couple months old. We took the kids to the Indio Tamale festival. Bekah had her first Christmas program in Kindergarten.

The Burnt-Over Blog: November 2011
http://baconcheese.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Here we have some pictures from October Fest 2011. It is, despite the beer associations, a great place for the kids to play. They always have free bouncy houses and pony rides. Yes, free! I guess they make all their money from the beer so they can do all the kid stuff for free. Either way its a win win for my kids. They also got to see their hero SpongeBob SquarePants. Seems a little deflated though, somebody should probably get him some water. Here is Po's palace. And here ...
