Feast from the Middle East. Chicken liver with a tangy pomegranate molasses sauce. March 6, 2014. March 6, 2014. Before you get all squeamish hear me out here, I, like most of you have never liked chicken liver mainly due to the eww factor and the fact that I didn’t like the texture of the liver, but once my mom made this recipe where it combined the crunch, the tangy, sweet and salty flavors I changed my mind and devoured the whole dish. 8221; well I will tell you how! Bharat (Arabic spice blend). Once ...

Feast from the Middle East. Jajangmyeon (자장면)- Black Bean noodles. March 25, 2014. March 26, 2014. The other day while I was walking in my local supermarket, I noticed that the Asian isle got new products, of course I immediately felt like a kid in a candy store. To my excitement I found fermented black bean paste, which I was craving for some time now, I am not quite sure if it is the same as the Korean Jajangmyeon. In Korean Jajang= Balck bean sauce, myeon= noodles). Jajangmyeon is addictive, satisfyin...

Rich Hancock's Blog. August 1, 2013. Documentary on “Islamophobia”. I created this documentary in order to open peoples minds about multicultural misconceptions and specifically on ‘Islamophobia” in America. Again, I realize this post is not about the country of Jordan but it relates to the core theme of my blog because of opening peoples minds about Arab culture in order to continue sharing my interest in the Middle East and the Arabic language. And maybe not worth the hassle all the time. A Collective ...

The Other Side of Normal - Rants, Raves and Rambles. Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Have a Good Life. This is what I don't understand. Why do people tell you to have a good life after being exceedingly rude, when it's obvious that they mean the opposite? If they've had no issue with saying such horrible things to you, why the pretense at being nice? Or is it supposed to be ironic? But you know what? It will probably be better. Because the person who says, "Have a good life" in a mean, sarcastic tone is a...

The Procrastinator Speaks | Random musings about random things.
Random musings about random things. WordPress really ain’t for me. I’ve moved back to Blogspot, sorry. If you give a damn. Comments : Leave a Comment. It’s not fun when you have internal office meetings that discuss (constructively, of course) all its employee’s faults and shortcomings. Worse if that said nitpickings force you to make a mental checklist of the things discussed. The worst is when you end up checking ALL THE ITEMS on the nitpick checklist because you know they’re TRUE. Comments : 2 Comments.

Today I shall ...
Today I shall . Tell you about moi. Tuesday, 28 June 2016. Endeavour to understand democracy? Okay another thought. We are leaving Europe because we are a democracy and circa 52% of the U.K want to leave. Fair point however 48% want to stay because they accept the status quo. If we look at the 52% they do not all want the same thing. Some want to remain in the single market but have control over all their laws, okay but that means free movement of people. Ah!
