Mindful Integration: April 2010
http://mindfulintegration.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. That which we covet. Any new parent knows that sleep is something you crave, something you try to steal, something you wish for and daydream about. So it's no wonder that when we see our other fellow family members enjoying some sleep, we covet it, admire it, and want to document it:. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Things I love about my daughter. Other things I love:. The way her face expresses pure emotion - rapidly changing as thing erupt and then resolve in quick succession. She i...

Mindful Integration: June 2010
http://mindfulintegration.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 25, 2010. So as I mentioned, we headed there this past weekend for my cousin's wedding. I was really nervous about the trip and I handled these nerves by over-preparing. I had ziplock baggies of just about everything a person could need while traveling. Most of it went unused, but I felt very secure the whole trip with my nice, neat ziplocks to go to in times of need. I know, you want the good stuff, the juicy details. Well here was the baby on the flight out:. Go ahead, Ma'am. Good thing to...

the WRITE Balance: Our Herb Habit
http://www.writebalance.org/p/the-herb-habit.html
Where emotions and truth must work together. I doubt it's news to you that herbs are a regular part of our lifestyle. They're so versatile and nourishing that my kids have used them almost since birth. I'm a true believer in their effectiveness when handled appropriately and am so grateful that herbs have always been an option for me. That being said, it is not cheap to get quality supplements that you can trust. And some argue that it doesn't. Matter where you get your herbs and all that. On your member...

the WRITE Balance: Struggling to Submit
http://www.writebalance.org/2014/09/struggling-to-submit.html
Where emotions and truth must work together. Monday, September 22, 2014. Last week, I had a really rough piano lesson. Today, things went better. An issue, though, is still at play that I must keep a handle on. Nerves are the main problem, but the cause of that main problem was revealed later in the week. And it makes sense, but it really surprised me. The reason I struggle with nerves and performing under pressure is submission. Selfie in Georgetown, CO. He's a catch! the WRITE Balance: Family Matters
http://www.writebalance.org/2015/07/family-matters.html
Where emotions and truth must work together. Monday, July 20, 2015. Family is a funny thing. Some of us complain about what's missing from ours. Others cut out the family we don't want to claim as ours. And most of us just don't appreciate it much until much later in life. As I think about how I want my children to appreciate their family experience, it's convicted me that I must model that for them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Finding the Write Balance. Reading Baby: Maudie, Olivia, and other feisty young ladies.
http://readingbaby.blogspot.com/2012/07/maudie-olivia-and-other-feisty-young.html
Reviews of books for babies and young children. Monday, July 16, 2012. Maudie, Olivia, and other feisty young ladies. This week, we have been reading Maudie and Bear by Jan Ormerod and Freya Blackwood. Maudie is a spirited young lady with grand emotions and great ideas. Bear is the archetypal, anthropomorphized parent figure. If Maudie is fire, Bear is cool earth. Their interactions are delightful. And the illustrations are layered, complex, and interesting for all ages. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
