Lace Wars in Tin: September 2014
https://lacewarsintin.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Lace Wars in Tin. Thursday, 18 September 2014. Light Infantry (2) - Grenz and Pandours. Following on from discussions about Frei Corps and Jager, some thoughts about the Grenz and Pandour. A hole in the PA range which needs filling. There was quite a lot of variation in the uniform worn by the Austrian Grenz regiments, so one of the troop types needs to be chosen. The Pengel and Hurt book on Austrian infantry contains a lot of useful information, including the illustrations and table below. Austrian Gren...

28mm Victorian Warfare: Paint Table Saturday#80
http://28mmvictorianwarfare.blogspot.com/2015/05/paint-table-saturday80.html
A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition" - Rudyard Kipling. The Boer War in 3D. Saturday, 16 May 2015. Back to the 'Warlord Games'. Clubmen after the welcomed distraction that was the Rastafarian survivor. From 'East Street Games'. New Bullet and Brains range - now available to order! In fact much of the colour palate is lifted directly from his versions, they really are sublime. But given that I sport a similar hairstyle, I have a certain sympathy for these chaps!

Lace Wars in Tin: French Infantry - some more thoughts
https://lacewarsintin.blogspot.com/2015/07/french-infantry-some-more-thoughts.html
Lace Wars in Tin. Friday, 31 July 2015. French Infantry - some more thoughts. Since the post on French Infantry on 31 January there was a lot of discussion about the need for new French moulds (the Karoliners are pretty close), and if there is a need what to put in them. There are still comments coming into that post, which suggests that there is interest in moulds for French infantry, so I have discussed with PA the possibility of doing some after the initial releases of cavalry. Mould 1 - Rank and File.

How can I help? From the stonyweb portfolio. My previous website was looking rather tired and dated, sales were suffering and I was losing inspiration, that was until I had a meeting with Stonyweb. Upon my personal consultation with John, I decided to start afresh, many new ideas were laid down and actioned. I am very pleased with the end product, I now have increased visitors to my site, leading to new business. For my company and I can now promote my online. Nikos Katsaros, SpecialOffer.gr.

Sunday, 30 November 2014. The Wargamer Show 2014. Was held today and I'm pleased to report it was jolly good fun. I didn't manage to make it last year, although I did the year before. And this was the first year at a new venue, which made it much more convenient for me to attend. Hurrah! There were a good selection of games put on by local clubs and plenty of traders. I had to seriously resist starting a few new projects! The always excellent Products for Wargamers. One of the traders, Magic Geek, I thin...
