I have recently started on an insulin pump and I am still getting used to the settings, having a boring no carb day to day to see how the basal rate is handling my natural variations. A couple of questions for people. How many different basal rates do you have, my machine allows up to 5 and I suspect I will need at least 2 to account for hormonal variations in insulin resistance over a month. How do you change your basal rate when shifting time zones? Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

How come only just now. - Cab. Jul 9th, 2011. How come only just now. Its been pretty obvious that tabloid newspapers are populated by evil fecktards for a very long time. So, like, why is everyone only just realising this now? These papers have been employing some of the most immoral methods to gain information on sometimes very slight moral infringements by others, and whipping people up into fake, hysterical fury (when not just using the information they've gained to tittilate),. I suspect this is an ...

I didn't think of that. - The Not So Secret Diary of Me. 10:49 am July 16th, 2004. I didn't think of that. My cars windscree washers were playing up and not distributing much water. I checked the washer levels, which were fine and the fuse, also fine. So this morning I took it to the garage to ask them. I was going with motor/pump problems or blocked nozzles/pipes. It turned out to be the latter, but they were blocked with limescale. Since I live in a hard water area which wasn't what I thought of.
