I previously posted on Mike Portnoy's departure from Dream Theater. That was disappointing, mostly because he was such a stalwart of the band. For me though, Dream Theater hasn't really interested me for years, so I couldn't really get too worked up. It never came. Looks like this was probably it though.

Kamelot announcement: They're dropping like flies. Are you kidding me? First, Jeff Loomis and Van Williams leave Nevermore yesterday. Now Roy Khan is leaving Kamelot. This is really sad news. Kamelot is a talented band, and their playing and songwriting is great. However, Roy's voice is really what pushed them over the top for me. Quoth the raven, Nevermore.
