Something New Learned Today: Retrieve recently closed tab in Firefox shortcut
http://somethingnewlearnedtoday.blogspot.com/2008/05/retrieve-recently-closed-tab-in-firefox.html
Something New Learned Today. Sunday, May 11, 2008. Retrieve recently closed tab in Firefox shortcut. In Firefox on Mac OS X pressing Command Shift T will re-open the last tab you just closed. This can be super useful if you accidentally closed a tab you didn't mean to. I believe the equivalent shortcut in Windows is Control Shift T and you can also right click another tab and choose to "Undo Close Tab". Something simple I never knew about before today so I thought I'd share. Posted by Nick Woods.

Something New Learned Today. Friday, May 2, 2008. Securing GMail Notifier (Mac OS X and Windows). I realized today that all of my data was being sent in the clear from the Google Notifier's I'm using on my Windows and Mac machines which isn't the most secure and could reveal some sensitive info especially when using public hotspots. Doing a bit of research I discovered the following tips:. Http:/ www.macosxhints.com/article.php? Pull down the Notifier menu (either Calendar or Gmail), hold down.

Something New Learned Today. Saturday, May 10, 2008. Locking Mac OS X Screen Quickly. So, there are lots of ways it turns out like using "hot corners" to lock your screen, but one interesting way is to run the "Keychain Access" utility and choose "Preferences." and check "Show Status in Menu Bar" to get a little lock icon on the toolbar from which you can choose to lock the machine.
