Saturday, January 31, 2009. This was at a going away party for Kathy Alex of Turning Point. This was a birthday party at the Bells for Shelbie and Sarah. Later this day, Aiden got hit by the tire swing. He cried for a long time. But the reality is that he got hurt worse when he later fell down the stairs of the playhouse, but hardly cried then. Aiden and I took a spring break recently and visited his Gitza (otherwise known as Great-Grandma). We went out to the country and visited some doggies. We drove through a wild-life park. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Wow, we've been busy. Since I last posted a blog, Olen started a new job, Aiden and I went to Orlando, and the whole family went to Rusk to see Thomas the Train. And now, Thanksgiving is only a couple of weeks away, with Christmas hot on its heels. Olen is enjoying his new job. It's closer to home which makes him happier. He is also a lot less stressed. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. This was the second trip to Galveston that Aiden has ever made. This is the first time that he got to play in the waves. He had a blast! The hardware employee told me that it still works – they didn’t think it did, but finally figured out a switch was off in the basement.
