Imagery and Word by Michael Hendron: Architect, Artist and Dabbler exploring a myriad of mild obsessions. Tuesday, February 7, 2012. On mobile photography, and it's influence on the average photographic eye. The below shot was not Instagrammed, because all the filters were diminishing the explosive, gooey feel of overripe persimmons and would have done the shot no justice. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Moai Moon at Elroy Artspace! I recently became FB friends with Elroy Artspace. A gallery up in Portland that showcases mid-century inspired work. When they announced a call to artists for their upcoming show "Atomic Tiki" I couldn't help but get inspired to paint! I sent them my submission and just found out I got in- yay! The fact that I'm in a gallery show with the likes of Derek Yaniger. One of my favorite tiki artists) is just awesome to me. So here's my piece:. Posted by Jessica Kreig Hendron.

Quick sketch of a little girl devil I had floating around in my head today. Posted by Jessica Kreig Hendron. A couple more sketches of random costumes I saw while at Comic-con. Did anybody else see King Lollipop? Is that a real character? Like the King of Candyland or something? Posted by Jessica Kreig Hendron. Well, I had a blast at SDCC! Did a bit of quick sketching this year.I just HAD to remember some of the weirder incomprehensible costumes. These are just a taste.more to come! Project 52 in 52.

Ginger, Part Deux. Working on some quick expressions for "Ginger" (a stripper with a heart of gold character) and trying to get a feel for her character. Pitched this to the WIA group this past month, and people seemed most excited about her when she had that "Bettie Page innocence" to her actions/expressions and felt a little more cartoony. Darn, now I have to do more research watching old Bettie Page films. Posted by Jessica Kreig Hendron. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Los Angeles, CA, United States.

Hendron.: Drink N' Draw
http://hendron.blogspot.com/2010/07/drink-n-draw.html
Imagery and Word by Michael Hendron: Architect, Artist and Dabbler exploring a myriad of mild obsessions. Thursday, July 29, 2010. A week ago, Jess and I went to a "Drink and Draw" event in San Diego, in which a giant group of people gets together at a bar and just sketches whatever catches their fancy. I whipped up a few doodles whilst sipping back a freshly tapped Blue Moon. The following were the fruit of my efforts that evening. Ahhhh, drawlicious! August 8, 2010 at 6:18 PM. It is THE BEST!

Project 52!!
Sunday, October 3, 2010. Canning peaches this year was wonderful! We did 80 quarts in one day! Jason bought me an outdoor cook stove so we canned outside and it was a dream! I loved hosing off the deck to clean up! The boys also helped and I think that's why it went so fast. I am so glad Jason helps me. We went on a hike/bike ride with Mom and Dad. It was really fun! There is a really cool train museum by our house. A man turned his yard into an entire rail station. Rocket test launch (#35). I am excited...
