She's going to get started on the surgery side of things (insurance, booking, etc.) in the meantime. The surgery will be performed by her and the senior doct...So af...

Missing Mikayla: October 2014
http://missingmikaylasophie.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Day 31 and FMF:The God who Never Leaves. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Some people ask, where was God? Where was God when I was hurting, sick, in pain? Where was God when my loved one left this earth too soon? Where was God when my heart was shattered into pieces? I know my God is here. I know He never left me nor forsook me. I know He was holding my tight the night my world fell apart. What kind of God gives us that opportunity to be with Him in glory! I have a calend...

I love my staff. August 9, 2014. I have a great staff of people at the Fort Washington Campus. There are many reasons I could list in verification but I choose to show you the below picture instead. Scroll down after pic). We routinely meet after a one of our celebration services to eat dinner together and hang out a bit. Tonight it got a little squirrely. ReadyForOurRainbow: We have a date!
http://readyforourrainbow.blogspot.com/2015/04/we-have-date.html
April 21, 2015. We have a date! I received a call from Ellen (nurse) this morning to answer my questions from yesterday. First and foremost, she said because I'm heterozygous A1298C MTHFR, I don't have to worry about any issues with birth control. So for now, I'm sticking with it and after surgery I'll probably try to avoid it just to be on the safe side. Ellen also mentioned that Dr. M. wants me to take extra folate (Woohoo! That was one of the questions I forgot to ask! Much to my surprise, I received ...

Missing Mikayla: August 2014
http://missingmikaylasophie.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 28, 2014. Five Minute Friday: Reaching Out. Prompt of the week: REACH. So often we are told to reach for the stars, or reach for our dreams. We are told to chase what we want, and work for what we long for. Shoot for the moon, and don't settle for anything less than perfection. While it is good to have a goal to work towards, and there is nothing wrong with dreaming, Jesus has called us to do so much more than reach for the stars. Links to this post. Labels: 5 Minute Friday. I will say t...

Project B.E.A.R. - Bringing Empty Arms Reprieve
Project B.E.A.R. was founded in memory of Jeremiah Joseph Spering, who was stillborn at 37 weeks on April 17, 2008 and Vincent Joseph Spering who was born June 2, 2009 and passed away June 15, 2009. We in turn endeavor to provide some comfort to those who suffer a similar loss and let them know they are not alone. We believe that every child is a precious blessing, no matter how short their time with us and whether or not we got to hold them in our arms or just in our hearts. Back to Top of Page.
