Charity founder Ted Howarth died peacefully in his sleep at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on the morning of Thursday the thirteenth of February 2003 aged 56. Days earlier he had returned from Finland, a trip arranged by his many friends from Project Challenge at Dean Clough, Halifax.
