The town we love to live in. Autumn Tees and Trees. The Tees thunders by at Broken Scar. From the slopes of Cross Fell high on the Pennines, it has passed through Cauldron Snout, over High Force and Low Force, then Middleton-in-Teesdale, Barnard Castle, Gainford and High Coniscliffe. The chimney of the redbrick Victorian Tees Cottage Pump House pokes above the trees behind us. We start our meander here, moving down stream with the river as it crashes over the weir before looping its way seawards.

The goal of the organization is to give hope to those unable to feed or cloth themselves and to assist in curbing the violence in the community of Oakland.
