CRAFT-a-BILLIE: Southern Biscuits
http://craftabillie.blogspot.com/2011/06/southern-biscuits.html
Sunday, June 26, 2011. Ps I'm always amazed when I finish off a can of Crisco. So much so I took a picture. I had to use my fingers and scrap enough out of the can for the 1/2 cup I needed. Which brings me to. 4 teaspoons baking powder. 3 generous teaspoons of sugar ( a tablespoon is perfectly acceptable). Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar and salt). Cut in shortening until your flour shortening = coarse crumbles. I use my hands for the majority of mixing this recipe.

http://craftabillie.blogspot.com/2011/04/crafty-ladies.html
Friday, April 22, 2011. Earlier this month I helped lead the ladies of Encounter Church. S very first ladies craft night. Our skill levels ranged from beginner to expert but it didn't matter. These crafts were super fun, super easy and super cool! Lentils foam wreaths hot glue = split pea spring wreaths. Good times with glue guns. That's my blue "W" back there. I dirtied it up with sandpaper for a shabby chic look. Paula Deen's cupcake stencils. Were the perfect size! April 22, 2011 at 1:28 PM.

http://craftabillie.blogspot.com/2011/04/tutu-cute.html
Tuesday, April 19, 2011. First, I am so sorry it's been 415 years since my last post. Heck, I bet no one even checks my blog anymore. But I wanted to share my latest project anyway! With a lot of help getting started from. I've made Marlowe's very first homemade tutu! My child dresses like she's a weird combination of Punky Bruster, Blossom and Lady GaGa (her inappropriate favorite). I have no idea where she gets it. Leave me a comment and let me know. http://craftabillie.blogspot.com/2010/05/nashville-needs-ya.html
Wednesday, May 12, 2010. My dear friend Brandy has made Nashville home for several years now. A few weeks ago her home was even featured on Nashville's Downtown Home Tour. Lovely isn't it? Just a few weeks later she was looking down the road at this:. Thankfully her family and her home are fine. Her account of the recent flooding is eloquent, moving, and surreal. Please take a moment to read her post:. Http:/ imseriouslykiddingreally.blogspot.com/2010/05/we-are-nashville.html. So if you can, please do.
