Project Foodie: Spoiler Alert: Mocha Frappe is McDonald's Shake!

http://projectfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/08/spoiler-alert-mocha-frappe-is-mcdonalds.html

Monday, August 2, 2010. Spoiler Alert: Mocha Frappe is McDonald's Shake! Reinventing things isn't something new. Lets face it, it's been going on for decades. Apple, Paul Rudd, Tina Turner, Toasters, and Instant Coffee are all brilliant examples of how relevance has been reinvented. First, please understand, honoring re-purposing things is something far too few Americans do; and often when they do, it’s a clumsy exercise in what seems to be embarrassed under achievement. But only time will tell!

Project Foodie: Double Down Dream

http://projectfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/04/double-down-dream.html

Sunday, April 25, 2010. And the clouds parted, and the choir of angels sang "Hallelujah" as I slowly cracked open the corrugated coffin. (That's how I remember it at least.). KFC's Double Down sure has the flair for the dramatic. Two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets glued together with two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel's Sauce. Hallelujah just might be an understatement. Fried Chicken Double Down! Labels: 3 speared steers. Curtis ...

http://projectfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/05/swiftys-modern-day-miracle.html

Thursday, May 6, 2010. Swifty's Modern Day Miracle. Imagine this. I'd like to ask you to join me in a moment of silence to honor this creation. I do believe this might just top the list of modern day food miracles. To sit atop the list with the likes of. Labels: 4 speared steers. May 7, 2010 at 9:35 AM. Dont tell my DR I said this).

Thursday, November 21, 2013. Sweet Potato Corn Chowder. Mid-November - cold, blustery, rainy, windy - perfect soup weather! I whipped up a batch of sweet potato corn chowder for dinner last night and posted a picture on Facebook. Sweet Potato Corn Chowder. 3-4 slices thick-cut applewood smoked bacon, chopped. 5-6 shallots (or 1/2 medium yellow onion). 1 medium carrot, peeled and diced.
