Sunday, April 7, 2013. And these from Easter morning! The twins are 4 years old! Wow, can you believe it? Four years old already. We're starting school this year! We did a little photo shoot to try for some good big boy 4 year shots. We celebrated their birthdays with each family along with Easter as I held both the Sauve and Mitchell Easter dinners this year. Thursday, June 20, 2013. John McGivney Children's Centre. This place was like a second home to us. Every Thursday morning we were off to "therapy" to see our girlfriends. Evan will be transitioning to new therapists (still through McGivney thank goodness! Once he begins school but I know it will definitely be a new chapter for us. Thursday, May 22, 2014. A New Season of TBall Begins. Our second season of TBall began this evening. The boys are playing for the Red Team - Woodslee Mini Mart! Chris' cousin Ray Sauve is one of the coaches. The boys were pretty excited. The first night was just about meeting coaches and teammates, getting shirts and hats and running through a few practices. Tuesday, June 17, 2014. JK Field Trip to the Detroit Zoo. On June 17, our JK class set out for the Detroit Zoo. The boys were super excited especially because they were able to ride the bus there! It was an incredibly warm humid day! I went over with some of the other moms. One of which was Lorna Baker. Chatting with her is just like being back in high school. Boy have I missed her! When we arrived the kids paired off with the parents. Tommy, Evan and I paired up with Kim and Keaton and off we went!

Children are no longer welcome to wear their costumes to school. They are allowed to wear black or orange and are able to bring in treats to share with their classmates. We have been incredibly lucky to have Mrs. M this year but were doubly blessed when she had a student from St. Clair join her this winter for her placement. Mrs. Koop arrived with a super smile and warm personality and charmed the pants off Evan from the very beginning. Saturday, June 7, 2014. I took the boys to the WFCU Centre this morning to "Meet the Machines". I had no idea it was going to be such a large event. Evan is not very good with standing in line however he did very well all things considered. We were not able to go through every vehicle they had there but we did see all of them. In 2017, Project Linus Tucson distributed 6,845 blankets, which is an average of 570 blankets each month. Project Linus Windsor Essex County. Project Linus is the dream of Karen Loucks-Baker of Colorado. She was inspired on Christmas Eve 1995 by a photo of a 3-year-old cancer patient Laura Williams and her special blankie. Karen decided to provide homemade security blankets to Denver's Rocky Mountain Children's Cancer Center and Project Linus was born. There are currently more than 400 chapters in the U.S. and Canada with well over 3 million blankets donated. TOTAL NUMBER OF BLANKETS DONATED: 647.
