Your Fire Burns: Student Loan Debt
http://briannalyn-bri.blogspot.com/2012/12/this-is-how-i-feel.html
26 December, 2012. This is how I feel. I love that I am graduated and "free" to look for full time missionary work to join and serve. In college I was fortunate to have opportunities to serve overseas and develop spiritual and practical skills during my summers, but at the cost of taking out loans. On the flip side I have been counseled to pay them off entirely before going to a foriegn field. Any words of advice from my fellow bloggers? On the field and stateside. January 7, 2013 at 11:31 PM. Simple tem...

28 January, 2011. I feel the need to update since my last blog was a little different. I can say that my anger isn’t like what it was and I’m beginning to process my trips. Having other mission minded people at school helps. Two of my professors have taken the time to listen and hear me process and offer some advice as I work through it all. “It all” . are you wondering what “It all” is? I have no solid answer as to what “It all” is. One day when heaven. Is filled with His praises. Jesus came forth to.

15 December, 2011. I love how God gives us creativity. To take part of his creative process in our own way. To make things that we cherish, find intriguing and beautiful. She pulled me aside and told me that it had really been laid on her heart to pray for a believer to start working at the restaurant again. . not long after that, she heard I had been hired. God is so good. Check out this video, a great creativity for sharing the gospel. In Exodus 35, talking about the workmen for building the temple.

18 May, 2012. Today it has hit me. Today as I’m cleaning the kitchen, sorting through piles of papers after moving. I looked up at my VOM map hanging on my wall; currently the only thing up on my bare bedroom walls except for the CCCB calendar (fitting focused on missions this year). I’m done with school! That finish line I’ve been waiting for has been crossed. now what’s next? I’m not sure but I’m blown away by the potential. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). MO, United States. View my complete profile.

24 April, 2011. Enjoy your Easter meal! 23 April, 2011. It’s Always Too Soon. Things surely change with time. I can think back to the tears that I wept over the past 5 months. Most of them had a connection to China or the subsequent trip I took south to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Upon returning to the United States I hit the ground running with family festivities for about 2 weeks straight. Once the new year had passed it was finally my time to start decompressing. What might he ask me to do next?

18 July, 2011. For my birthday the Jacobson girls gave us a ‘recital’. 14 July, 2011. Some insights on Aid Work. Today I came across an article by Matthew Bolton. He shares his experience and gives advice on becoming an aid worker. I’ve tossed the idea around in my head since high school about becoming an aid worker. As I read his article I became more interested. Here’s some of the highlight from the article:. In Helen Fielding’s great satirical novel about aid workers, Cause Celeb, one of her cha...
