Who is behind #projectPCOS? Learn more about the project. Verity is the UK charity for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and provides information and support for women with PCOS and their loved ones. Verity was founded in 1997 and is managed entirely by a team of volunteers. Through a very active discussion board and locally based support groups, Verity helps share the truth about PCOS and provides an outlet for women to give and receive valuable peer support and advice. We were aiming for 1000 to ensure we had a good representative base - and are thrilled to have far surpassed this target. We are so thankful and pleased to have the support of Dr Yvonne Jeanes, a registered dietitian and PCOS researcher, who is helping us to analyse the findings and write the report that will be shared with all of you - and with the UK media.
