Friday, January 11, 2013. Crochet Ribbed Beanie Pattern. What I noticed with creating this ribbed pattern it that it shrinks up the hat since it is so stretchy. I had to make the crown of the hat bigger than I thought because of the ribbing. I think it would be a great stitch for leg warmers (maybe I’ll have to try that.). It was a nice solid piece but clearly no one has the insight into what it could become like Mike did. The dark wax definitely toned down the green which is actually a lot brighter.
