A Second Helping of Meatballs }. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Gianni and I spent the weekend on Whidbey Island. We were able to hike Ebey's Landing for the first time as well as relax and enjoy the quiet views! We were able to see an amazing lightning storm Friday night - it lasted throughout the night and was very cool to see! Uncle Ric took us out for dinner Saturday night, but not before my 6 mile Ragnar training run and Gianni's joyrides in the McLaren and Healy. Saturday, July 7, 2012. Check This Out, Too!

A Second Helping of Meatballs }. Saturday, March 31, 2012. Gianni was on a riding trip this weekend (yeah for him! And Brando had plans to sleepover with LoLo. That just left Luca and me in a very quiet house for the night. We worked together to assemble his new Star Wars blanket. Luca is quickly becoming a Star Wars expert. This makes Gianni so happy. I, on the other hand, have never seen the movies and could care less about the dark side or jedis. Or droids or whatever Luca constantly talks about?

However, due to a huge miscommunication, Luca's first t-ball game of the season was canceled. The coach of the other team called off the game and apparently only told his own players. After a couple of cancellations on our part due to illness, we were finally able to commit to and follow through on a playdate. With Auntie Carrie, Emi. Who is somehow almost 10 months old now! Packed a lunch and joined the boys as they all took a break from playing to eat together. With full bellies, it was time for a calm activity.
