Project Stane | Expression Through the Arts
Project Stane is the passion project of Los Angeles based artist Dante Orpilla who was incarcerated in 2009. During this period, Dante was flooded with intense feelings of anger, isolation, betrayal, and depression; feelings that were almost impossible to verbalize. By turning to art, he discovered a way to express those feelings through drawings and paintings, paintings which initially started off as coffee stains. It is the goal of Project Stane to make these art workshops possible.
