The Cyclist and his route. SOS Children´s Villages. Partners Relief and Development. We came in contact with PARTNERS RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT via HUMEDICA. When we arrived to Thailand, we visited the office in Mae Sot. Located in Thailand PARTNERS RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT supports the people in Burma. The ceasefire in 2012 was just the first step on a long way to achive a better life for them. Children who had to leave their families as life in the refugee camp is still safer than in their home villages.

The Cyclist and his route. SOS Children´s Villages. Tuesday, 19 May 2015. May 10th till May 14th 2015. By rental car (982km). Yes, sometimes I am very lazy and I do not want to cycle all side trips, especially when I have to go the same way twice. I want to come to Darwin as soon as possible so I make a quick trip to Cairns by rental car. One highlight was to meet Tilmann Waldthaler. Both so friendly and we had great conversations, not only about travelling by pushbike :-). Awesome pet boarding house :-).
