Projections from my life. Epistemic vs. Aleatoric. The dramatic fallacy is mistaking aleatoric uncertainty with an epistemic one. In those cases, one hopelessly tries to acquire knowledge to get rid of an uncertain situation whereas there is no admissible action for that purpose. The more dangerous one is the illusion. Of reducing uncertainty in the light of new knowledge when the uncertainty is not linked to lack of knowledge: This leads to typical blind risk taking which can be fatal.
