Textile Art and Embroidery. High Summer on the Common. July 23, 2014. Took a walk n the Common today without my faithful friend. Since he has become epileptic I find that he needs my full attention, so I reserve my walks with him merely for observation and a little light gathering. It is a very hot sultry day and I could hear the hum of the insects. They are now all sitting in jars of water. I am going to see what happens to the water before filling them with fabric. I suspect I need more of all. This on...

Textile Art and Embroidery. Festival Of Quilts 2015. August 11, 2015. Am now home from The Festival of Quilts. Alison and I had a lovely and very fruitful time. We met loads of lovely people and had a lot of laughs. Our stand – terrible light so not good pics. We have decided we can no longer fit a quart into a pint pot so have booked a bigger stand for next year. We also had work in the Quilters in Action exhibition. As did fellow room 6ers Sue Chapman and Lynne Onions. A brief rundown of the highlights.

Textile Art and Embroidery. Normal Service has been Resumed. April 14, 2015. Common. Textile art. I have taken a bit of a break part of which has been spent in Cambodia. I thoroughly recommend it as a destination, the people are lovely and very laid back in spite of a very tragic history. Inevitably went to Angkor Wat and took some probably very cliched pics. We also went to Pnomh Penh, Kampot and an island, Koh Rong Samoleon which was relaxing and totally off grid. This is how far I have got. Textiles&#...

Friday, November 1, 2013. Hmmm, this is too easy! Soundcloud seems much easier to use (and post here) than Divshare. So here's another one, just recorded 5 minutes ago. I must not forget how to fly. A Mermaid on Facebook. A mermaid in the attic.

Shazz Mc Textiles and Tinctures. Sunday, January 15, 2012. There are always people ready to fit us into a BOX. Thankfully the house is large.but that makes work too. The youngest would like her time alone back I think.and My husband loves the noise and the banter.

Art, spirit, textiles, fibre, dreams, nature, love, life. Tuesday, June 23, 2009. WowWhat an intense few weeks leading up to winter solstice. Making those giant leaps into the unknown are terrifying but at the same time exhilarating! Looks like the universe has some plans. Posted by Jodie Williams. Monday, June 22, 2009. The darkest day, the longest night, a completion of the cycle of seasons, birth, death, rebirth. What do you dare to dream? What do you dare to create? How bright do you dare shine?
