Just another WordPress.com site. August 2, 2010. SODC have said they will be pressing ahead now with the LDF. There has been advise from Central Government that we should continue. What we are waiting for is further and full details on the Localism Bill which should be available by November. However if we don’t press forward with some work we will end up worse off. SODC has announced that it is withdrawing the Core Strategy from the next Council meeting following an announcement last night from the new government reversing John Prescott’s plans and passing control over the location and numbers of houses to local councils.
